Updates for my Portfolio for June 2023
For my side project, I am still sourcing another component now that it can proceed further. I am also looking at characterizing in parallel for the next product in the pipeline.
- No Transactions for the month.
That's all for my money for now.
That being said, the US market recently surged up a little. I am eyeing a few counters to average down a little in other markets though. Hope to see more opportunities soon.
I have place a small % of my net worth in crypto-assets.
Conclusion
My portfolio YTD is now 36.75% (not that representative yet), with the long term XIRR at -5.51% (w/o Crypto is -0.29%). Hopefully, the rest of 2023 is much better.
My cash position is currently at about 10%. Will continue wait for my cash position to accumulate. Let's hope I can get my numbers back on track.
On a side note, I am actually funneling a significant amount of my monthly savings to Endowus, 75% in fact. This is actually appealing to the worry that my underperformance might persist and I am losing compounding while waiting. Given the size of my current portfolio, I thought I can reduce the amount of capital injected and grow secondary portfolios as backup.
