Updates for my Portfolio for September 2022
Not much progress on my side project this month, due to the COVID disruption, the cost of certain raw materials and shipping has increased. More tests are being scheduled so will wait and see. I am sorry for late posts and stuff because of some complicated things going on in life and I did a operating system upgrade recently.
- Buy Adobe at 308 and 305
- Buy Microsoft at 240
- Buy Alphabet at 99
- Reasons/Notes
- Just adding to my current positions.
- I
would point out that the amount of shares purchased is rather
small (I was afraid of running out of cash), looking to add more as
prices fall.
That's all for my money for now.
That being said, the US market continues a slow death, hoping to grab better bargains. There was a minor rally recently but I don't think it is at the end of the drop. Will be rebuilding cash waiting.
I have place a small % of my net worth in crypto-assets.
Conclusion
My portfolio YTD is now -62.55%, with the long term XIRR at -15.42%. It is going to take some time to get back into green I guess.
My cash position is currently at about 5%. Will continue wait for my cash position to accumulate while waiting. Let's hope I can get my numbers back on track.

Hi! Looks like it's not a bottom of markets today. Do you have any working advice how to go through it emotionally? I have -34% in this year. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHi Gaspar, I normally avoid checking my portfolio very often, maybe once a day. I normally have a few target buying prices to see what looks interesting. As for the rest, I believe it comes with experience (been thru trading, Euro Debt, China Debt Crisis, COVID), for me, I tend to have a short writeup for myself to remind me of why I purchased it and what I expect for it to grow into. Kinda keeps me focused during the plunge.
