Updates for my Portfolio for January 2022
I wanted to post this much earlier but due to various circumstances in life, I didn't find much time until recently.
For my side project, it is placed in hiatus until further notice as the place I am working on it is undergoing major works.
- Buy Amazon at 2900
- Buy MarketAxess at 325
- Buy Alibaba at 110.5
- Reasons/Notes
- Just adding to my current positions.
- I would point out that the amount of MarketAxess purchased is rather small (I was afraid of running out of cash), looking to add more as prices fall.
- I would think that for now, this would be my last tranche of Alibaba before it becomes uncomfortably large for me in the portfolio.
That's all for my money for now.
I have place a small % of my net worth in crypto-assets.
Conclusion
My portfolio YTD is now -6.28%, with the long term XIRR at 11.59%, slightly beating VT's performance, but that's probably due to leverage. That being said, in view of rising interest rates, I might be forced to reduce my leverage.
My cash position is currently at about 8%. Have to wait for cash position to accumulate while waiting.
