RKEP M9000 Shuttles Review
Having played with Fast Slow Medium thrice for the past 2 weeks, I find that the Slow is the closest I have to a Feather Shuttlecock (at least benchmarked to Li Ning's Shuttlecocks which a colleague of mine brought for a badminton session). It is slightly heavier compared to a feather though.
Feels much better than the ProKennex Nylon Medium (Blue) Shuttlecocks.
The Fast speed (Red) ones are too fast and flies out of the court too easily ^^"
The Medium speed (Blue) ones are slightly more unnaturally fast.
Have not compared them to the Yonex Mavis Series yet though, I bought them because they are said to be close in terms of flight pattern to Feather like the Mavis 2000.
The yellow color helps with seeing the shuttlecock flight in some courts where the background inhibits visibility.
Will be using them for future games now =)

thanks 4 ur inputs.. plz comoare itt with mavis 350
ReplyDeleteI never owned the Mavis to be honest. Tried looking for in SG but the costs are too expensive for poor me ^^"
DeleteI googled very long for this purchase to be honest. This one was one of the other alternatives (the other is made and sold exclusively in Europe, can't remember the brand now), which has a flight pattern most similar to feather shuttles, although it is much heavier, thus a different feel to hitting feathers.
I read up that it beats the Mavis 2000 (which was the closest to feather) in terms of performance and price, so I just bought these (so much cheaper ^^")
